TRIC Director Dr Adam Masters featured in ABC Rear Vision episode 'INTERPOL'

TRIC Director, Dr Adam Masters, was featured in a recent ABC Rear Vision podcast, ‘INTERPOL’. Dr Masters joins Prof Mathieu Deflem and Visiting Prof Clive Williams to debate the history, function and future of INTERPOL. In light of refugee and soccer player Hakeem Al-Araibi’s arrest in Thailand, due to a INTERPOL Red Notice issued by Bahrain, questions arose around the processes used by world governments and INTERPOL in issuing and reacting to ‘Red Notices’. Debate focused on the legitimacy of the issuing process, the apparent political underpinnings of Al-Araibi’s arrest and Australia’s conduct during the event.
